Your Leadership Team

Shannon Nevill, RN – Co-Owner

Shannon is a native of rural Missouri and has been a nurse for 24 years, first receiving her degree from Northeastern Arkansas College and later attending the Sinclair School of Nursing at University of Missouri-Columbia where she was nominated for the “Overall Excellence in Nursing Award.”

Her clinical experience includes Medical, Surgical, Pediatrics, Cardiac, Intensive Care, Emergency Services, Case Management, Utilization Management, and Clinical Appeals. She has a background as a Clinical House Supervisor and a Clinical Manager of ICU and Telemetry. She has practiced in rural community hospitals and large St. Louis City Hospitals, which include Level 1 Trauma Centers and teaching facilities.

She has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, Milliman UM Specialist, and InterQual Certification by the Inter-rater Reliability Review.

She has consulting experience with three large consulting firms, spanning from New York City to California, and has received specialized training with clinical appeals writing. Shannon has both payer and provider experience, which includes inpatient Care Coordination. She served on the National Medicare Team of the single largest health carrier in the United States, United HealthCare, where she acted as a Subject Matter Expert for the team.

Anne De Lonais, MD – Co-Owner & Chief Medical Officer

Anne De Lonais, MD., is a co-owner of The Nevill Group and a practicing Emergency Physician.  Before starting The Nevill Group, Dr. De Lonais worked as a Risk Manager for two Fortune 500 Company subsidiaries and held various business management positions until attending Boonshoft School of Medicine in 1993.  Dr. DeLonais completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.  She and her husband moved to Missouri in 2000, where she continued her work in Emergency Medicine.  Dr. De Lonais has served as an Emergency Department Medical Director and attended the ACEP Emergency Department Director’s Academy.

After a successful career working across the spectrum in large tertiary centers and small critical access hospitals, Dr. De Lonais began to utilize her business skills to analyze revenue cycle metrics.  Realizing a need for improvements in utilization management, she has devoted herself to providing expert assistance to hospitals and other health care facilities, helping them maximize revenue while improving the quality and efficiency required in healthcare.

Dr. De Lonais has a passion for rural and wilderness medicine and is a Fellow of the Wilderness Medical Society.  She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians.  Serving as Medical Director for the Paramedic Program at Southwest Baptist University and EMS Director for rural ambulance services, she is responsible for the continued training and education of paramedics and EMTs.
